GENERAL AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERMANENT MAKEUP

Below is a general description of your aftercare instructions. Please take into consideration Taylor’d Beauty may make changes to your aftercare based on your procedure.

Over the next 7-15 days, depending on your skin type, your Permanent Makeup will be healed. During this course of this time, some individuals do experience minimal scabbing. This is normal, however we want to prevent this as much as possible. Do NOT pick your scabs!

Aftercare Instructions:

Day of the Procedure:

It is very important to remove all the lymph (Clear, white secretion), to prevent scabbing. Immediately following your procedure, blot the area with a clean wet cotton pad, every 1-2 hours for the remainder of the day. Then immediately apply a thin layer of Aftercare ointment. Repeat until you go to bed.

Day 2:

Continue to remove as much lymph as possible. Every 3 hours blot the area with a wet cotton pad, then immediately apply a thin layer of Aftercare Ointment. Repeat this from the time you wakeup until bed. Be sure to apply your Aftercare Ointment once more before bed.

Day 3-12:

Keep your Permanent Makeup hydrated. At all times throughout the day, ensure you’re the area haves thin layer of aftercare ointment on it. It is recommended to apply the aftercare ointment 3-5x a day.

Avoid the following for the next 7-12 Days:

• Getting your Permanent Makeup Wet 
• Tanning 
• Saunas 
• Swimming
