Luxury Permanent Makeup After-Care Instructions

Permanent Makeup Aftercare Instructions

Permanent Makeup Post-Care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. The next 7 days are the most critical to the semi–permanent look of your brows.

DAY Of The Treatment : A – W – M
Absorb: Gently BLOT the area with clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid (clear white fluid). Do this every 5 to 10 minutes for the full day until oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph.

Wash:
Wash gently with an all-natural gentle antibacterial soap 2 hours after the treatment. This is to remove bacteria, lymph fluid and any previously applied cream/oil. (Don’t worry…THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!)

Moisturize:
After washing apply a very thin layer of Grapeseed oil. Repeat these steps 3 to 5 times during the Day.
If the treatment was done later at night and you cannot apply the oil 3 to 5 times, prior to bed apply the oil and place plastic wrap over the eyebrows This will protect the eyebrow from drying and oil being wiped off overnight.

Over The Next 14 Days:
Moisturize: Maintain facial hygiene and apply the aftercare oil (Grapeseed oil) at least 3 to 5 times a day. Make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment grape seed oil (or coconut oil) with a cotton swab. This is crucial after washing your face or having a shower.
Avoid all creams (expect for the aftercare oil provided), and all makeup (foundation) in the brow area. Avoid workout that involve a lot of sweating, sauna, facials, and massages.
     Note:
      – Day 2 and 3:  Your brows will appear the darkest, yes even darker than when you left the studio.
      – Day 5-10:   Peeling and scabbing will occur. This is normal. DO NOT PICK THE SCABS.
It will impede the pigment strokes and
may cause gaps in the brow.

Important Note About Showering:
Limit your showers to 5 minutes so you do not create too much steam.
Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, wash your hair at the end of your shower.
Try to keep your face from getting wet until the end of the shower.
Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following:
fever, continued redness at the site, swelling, continued tenderness at the procedure site, elevated body temperature,
red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor
